Monday was back to work for me, but Amelia had off from school for MLK Day. I am still a little jealous of her school schedule. She just came back from Christmas break two weeks ago and it was immediately followed by a four-day weekend. Maybe my memory is warped but I feel like we basically got off from school for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and if there was about 2 feet of snow.
Speaking of memory being warped, as I was writing that I had some deja vu and realized I may very well have made that joke, or a very similar one, in a very recent post. So if I did, I apologize for the repetition in this blog. They sometimes blend together for me, too.
So, I apologize for the repetition in this blog.
Anyway, Amelia got to play along with Henry and his ABA therapist and they were having a grand old time. We grown ups were experiencing our usual Monday drag, but the kids were full of enthusiasm. At one point, I came back to my office to discover it had been occupied, and they were taking turns spinning in my chair.

To be fair, it IS fun to spin in that chair, and even though I spend a good deal of time in it, I really don’t do it enough. They were laughing like hyenas while doing it, so clearly they are on to something.
And that, dear reader, was about all of note for the day. We had other regular Monday things, like Henry meeting with his occupational therapist and Amelia going to piano lessons. Good stuff indeed, but all things I’ve written about before.
I’ll call it a day and keep this post short because, and I can’t recall if I’ve said this before, I apologize for the repetition in this blog.
