At one point I had intentions of opining about one thing or another in today’s post, but honestly it’s been a pretty busy day and I don’t have all that many words in me. So instead, I’ll just say a few quick things about our Wednesday.

Wednesday is a bit more of a free form day, with the kids both having the afternoon off from therapy and school. They got some good playing in, as usual, and Amelia brought up a bunch of box vehicles she created for her stuffies a while back.

Later in the afternoon, I took the kids to get their hair cut. They both love their stylist, and even Henry looks forward to getting his hair cut. I know there are plenty of kids his age, particularly those on the spectrum, who really struggle with things like getting their hair cut. But Henry sat nicely, got his hair washed and cut. He chit-chatted with the stylist, who is so great with him. Both kids did great and looked fabulous afterward. I tried taking a picture of them at the salon, but that was the moment Henry decided to draw the line. That’s cool, I can respect that.

Back home, it was a lovely evening and we had a nice dinner outside. The kids played around in the garden box and Amelia played with the dogs.

After that, it was cleanup, a few cartoons and bed. Not much to write about, it was, as the title indicates, a Wednesday,
