As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, we spent time on Monday evening filling out our ballots. Tuesday would be be the big day…VOTE! We dropped off our ballots at a nearby election drop box.

So that is done. We are proud and glad to have done our duty and contributed to the democratic process.
From there, it was a pretty typical day of work and stuff, and in the afternoon we had a meeting and some parent training with Henry’s BCBA. Erin’s parents were kind enough to join us so they could also learn about some of the strategies we’re using to work with Henry. The more consistency we can get, the better, so we feel like that is a positive step.
It was a really good back and forth discussion, and I think we all walked away with a little better understanding of things, big and small, we can all do to help contribute to Henry’s development and progress.
After the meeting, Grandma and Pop Pop stuck around for a while, and went with the kids to one of the nearby parks. It was a beautiful afternoon, so we sat outside, enjoyed the weather and ordered in some Italian carryout.

After dinner, Grandma and Pop Pop had to hustle off to another engagement, but Erin and I stayed outside with the kids while they played. It was a particularly beautiful sunset that night.

Pretty short post today, because it was just one of those days that was pretty concise. Good things all around, though.
