Not much to say about this particular Wednesday, honestly. Most notably, I drove Erin down to her eye surgeon to have her stitches out following last week’s procedure. I am pleased to report she is healing well and on the mend.
After that, it was back home to work and a typical day. I had some good company in all working locations. For a while, I was set up in a kiddie chair in the back playroom while the kids spoke in British accents and played kitchen.
And in my office, Islay sacked out and joined me for much of the afternoon.
The kids both had off in the afternoon, so they got to spend the afternoon with Grandma and Pop Pop, and we had a quiet house for a few hours. I was able to get caught up on a few things, we ordered some dinner and watched some Ted Lasso before the kids got home.
And that, to be honest, was about it. The kids got home, we hung out for a little while, and then it was off to bed. Some days are a little light on excitement, and I have to say, that is A-OK with me.
