Sunday wasn’t much more energetic than Saturday was. It was a low key morning, and then I dropped the kids off at their grandparents to spend some time with them.

That afternoon, Erin went off to get her first COVID vaccination, and that went nice and smoothly Now we both have our first dose and have our second ones scheduled. Exciting times indeed.

We took some time to rest up in the quiet house, and then went down to Denver for an early dinner. We thought we’d take advantage of a little kid-free time to check out a New Mexican restaurant we’d been meaning to try. It was really good, and round one was gone before I even got the camera out.

We had a really nice meal, then headed back home. The kids got dropped off and they had so much fun with their grandparents, and also Nick and Wanda, some lovely neighbors of Grandma and Pop Pop who are like an extra set of grandparents to the kids. They played Clue Jr. and some make believe games. Amelia got some clip on earrings and was excited to model them for us.

Henry was telling us how they were playing a game where he was a prince, and he put on a true royal tone and announced his regal presence.

We got the kids to bed, I did a little reading and called it a night. Another weekend down, another week, coming right up.
